Stef Alicia McCalmon and Brence Pernell approach social equity and justice work from different disciplines: McCalmon as a DEI consultant and content creator, and Pernell as a lawyer, writer, and educator. Their blended perspectives provide insights regarding progress in the past year – and the work still to be done. Their dialogue also reveals why it’s important for people who advocate on behalf of others to pause and recharge themselves.
